Prosperity Southwest

Prosperity Southwest Wisconsin is known for its unique geography of hills and valleys with the Mississippi River on the western boundary and the Wisconsin River cutting through the northern half. This region is viewed as one of the most diverse agricultural regions in the country.

Manufacturing is a key component to the economy of the southwest Wisconsin region. The area is known for metal machining and fabrication for the agriculture, military and auto industries. Agriculture manufacturing also plays a big role here, with numerous dairy processing, cheese and yogurt production facilities, and seed production businesses.

Southwest Wisconsin is a well-positioned, lower cost location with highway, rail and barge access, and has the foundation of a well-educated, quality labor force.
