Ensuring the economic success of Wisconsin relies on creating a vibrant and supportive entrepreneurial environment. That’s why The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) and its network of statewide partners are committed to helping startups reach success. These initiatives are highlighted in a new report, which provides data on the programs’ performance in 2015.

Among the key findings in the Entrepreneurship and Innovation In Wisconsin® 2015 report, WEDC’s direct-assistance programs served to help more than 300 companies generate $318 million in total capital. These same companies, in turn, created more than 1,700 full-time jobs and more than 550 part-time jobs in the state, paying more than $94 million in wages.
